FLOW's Annual Spring Southern Trip
FLOW's Second Annual Southern Trip will hopefully (with sufficient water) hit the usual spots:
Slippery Rock Creek, PA,
The Lower Youghiegheny River, PA, the
The Cheat CAnyon, WV and the
Upper Youghiegheny River, MD. All three of these rivers are unlike anything you will find in Western or Central New York. My hope is that this will be a clinic in how to read water, both from shore and from water level. Over the course of these three rivers will increase the difficulty and the power of the water, each river being more interesting and more challenging than the last.
For a ridiculously detailed description of these rivers, check this out.
