PERSONAL
-
I started kayaking in June of 2000, but really got hooked in the spring of 2003. I achieved ACA certification that spring and have been teaching as much as I can since then, often spending forty hours with students in a week. I’ve also been living the life; traveling around the northeast in search of rivers, waves, creeks and holes. I have continued to develop as a boater, instructor and leader by improving my ACA certification, becoming a Wilderness First Responder, participating in a Swiftwater Rescue Class and constantly reassessing my methods of teaching.
